Gregor and Michelle met while working long hours as junior managers at a 5-star hotel chain, which was shortly after graduating from their respective hotel schools. Gregor’s background over the course of three decades has encompassed general management for restaurant operations, partnership in a wine agency, and working for a well known hotel chain where he learned the value of providing exceptional service to top-end clientele.  

 Michelle’s lifetime interest in food trends and design coupled with her broad administration and human resources background truly compliments the operational responsibilities of the restaurant. She gained her hospitality experience during her early career years working for catering companies, restaurants, and private clubs.  Although her career choices took her away from the hospitality industry for a short time period, she is glad to be back with the guests and providing exceptional customer service.

They have two children currently attending public school, plus a Westie dog named Bella.

Freddy has become one of the cornerstones of Avenue Bistro. He is the ultimate bartender: the expert mixologist who enjoys being of service and is known as the guy with the sports scores. A lot of people come in focused on the cocktails, but for those who frequent his bar, they obviously find something there beyond just the drinks.
